A four-day training seminar for Muhtasibs and preachers in Laghman province has concluded

A four-day training seminar organized by the General Directorate of Education and Training of Muhtasibs and Preachers of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints has concluded in Laghman Province.

The seminar was held for muhtasibs from the provincial center and districts with the aim of improving the implementation of the ministry’s law, promoting better treatment of the public, strengthening their capacity in the field of religious outreach (Dawah), and ensuring better implementation of Decree No. 17 issued by the Amir al-Mu’minin.

At the final session of the training seminar, which was attended by the governor of Laghman and officials (Muhtasibs) from all government departments in the province, speakers addressed the muhtasibs and emphasized the importance of observing the principles and proper stages of religious outreach.

They urged them to follow the methods and approach of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions, to properly represent the Amir al-Mu’minin and the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, and to treat the public appropriately in their outreach activities.

They also stressed that muhtasibs should address people’s problems in a timely manner, avoid coercion and harsh treatment in their outreach activities, and observe Islamic guidance in this regard.

It is worth noting that, prior to this, the General Directorate of Education and Training of Muhtasibs and Preachers had also concluded a training seminar in Kapisa Province.

The seminars are aimed at improving implementation of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue’s law, promoting better treatment of the public, strengthening capacity in religious outreach, and improving implementation of Decree No. 17 issued by the Amir al-Mu’minin. The series of training seminars will continue.
