Rescued a woman in Kandahar after 12 years of domestic abuse and mistreatment
Officials (Muhtasibs) from the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, in Khakrez District of Kandahar Province rescued a woman who had been subjected to oppression, violence, and continuous abuse by her husband over the past twelve years.
According to officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry in the province, the woman lived in the Boom area of the First District of Khakrez, Kandahar Province. During these years, she not only endured physical and psychological abuse but was also deprived of her Is/la/mic and human rights.
As a result of the efforts and intervention of the ministry’s inspectors, she was rescued from her difficult living situation, and all of her Is/la/mic rights were secured.
Officials of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints in the province emphasized that ensuring women's Is/la/mic rights and preventing all forms of abuses and domestic violence in accordance with Is/la/mic principles are among their top priorities.
