As a result of the efforts of the personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, and with the cooperation of religious scholars and community elders, more than ten disputes and longstanding feuds among tribes and families in the Keshm, Tagab, and Daraim districts of Badakhshan Province were resolved through reconciliation.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry's Directorate for the Promotion of Virtue in Badakhshan stated during separate meetings with the parties involved that reconciliation and the restoration of harmony among Muslims are among the noble values of Islamic law.
They emphasized that Islam consistently calls upon Muslims to uphold brotherhood, forgiveness, pardon, and the resolution of disputes.
They further noted that resolving conflicts through dialogue, mutual understanding, and reconciliation not only ends hostilities but also strengthens social cohesion, reinforces fraternal relations, and contributes to security and peace within society.
The officials (Muhtasibs) also called on religious scholars, community elders, and all segments of society to further expand their cooperation with the Ministry's Muhtasibs in promoting a culture of peace, Islamic brotherhood, and reconciliation, and to play an active and effective role in preventing the emergence of disputes and enmity.
