Personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints o fIEA, have comprehensively addressed six legal and Sh/ar/ia-related cases concerning women’s inheritance and dowry rights in the provinces of Takhar, Baghlan, and Sar-e Pol, as part of efforts to ensure women’s legitimate rights and respond to public complaints. Local officials (Muhtasibs) of the ministry in these provinces stated that, following the receipt of complaints from affected women, the cases were carefully investigated in accordance with the principles of Is/la/mic Sh/ar/ia, as well as the procedures and regulations of the complaints hearing law.
As a result, the Sh/ar/ia rights of the female complainants regarding inheritance and dowry were secured, and their legitimate rights were fully restored.
