The personnel of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints, in line with ensuring women’s Sharia rights and addressing public complaints, have handled five legal cases related to women’s inheritance rights in the center and several districts of Takhar Province. Officials of the Ministry in this province stated that these cases were carefully reviewed after receiving complaints from the affected women, in accordance with the rulings of Islamic Sharia and with full observance of the principles, procedures, and regulations governing the hearing of complaints. As a result, the Sharia inheritance rights of the female complainants were secured, and their lawful rights were fully restored.
It is worth mentioning that while these cases were being addressed, during the past month nearly seventy other women, through the efforts of the personnel of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, were also able to obtain their Sharia inheritance rights.
