Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing Complaints of IEA, in line with strengthening Islamic unity, ensuring social peace, and resolving conflicts and hostilities among ethnic groups and families, have peacefully settled 19 cases of disputes and enmities in the provinces of Kabul, Faryab, Samangan, Parwan, Maidan Wardak, Takhar, Baghlan, Paktika, and Sar-e Pol.
These conflicts and hostilities, which stemmed from family disputes, ethnic tensions, inheritance division issues, and social misunderstandings, had been gradually escalating over time. The resolution of these conflicts and enmities comes at a time when, during the previous week as well, the ministry’s personnel (Muhtasibs) reportedly transformed more than one hundred cases of disputes and hostilities among ethnic groups and families into peaceful coexistence and reconciliation.
