The Deputy Minister of Defense of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue met with civilian and officials as well as mujahideen during his visit to Maidan Wardak province

As part of a series of provincial visits, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlawi Khair Jan Khairkhwah, Deputy Minister for Military Affairs at the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, traveled to Maidan Wardak Province to monitor, assess, and review the implementation of the Law on the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, as well as the decrees, rulings, and directives issued by the Ministry at military centers.

During the visit, the Deputy Minister for Military Affairs visited several military centers in Maidan Wardak Province and assessed the implementation of the Law on the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, Islamic Sharia rulings, decrees, directives, and recommendations issued by the officials (Muhtasibs).

In meetings with officials (Muhtasibs), mujahideen, and military personnel of the province, he emphasized the accurate, responsible, and comprehensive implementation of the Law on the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, as well as adherence to the principles and rulings of Islamic Sharia.

 He also called for serious attention to the decrees and directives issued by the competent authorities.

Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlawi Khair Jan Khairkhwah, while highlighting the importance and status of the obligation to promote virtue and prevent vice in an Islamic system, stressed that adherence to Sharia rulings and Islamic values in all affairs particularly in carrying out military responsibilities is essential and fundamental.

He called on military personnel to perform their duties in accordance with Sharia rulings and decrees and to treat the public and other officials with kindness and in an Islamic manner.

During the meeting, the officials, mujahideen, and military personnel of Maidan Wardak Province welcomed the delegation from the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice and reaffirmed their commitment and readiness to cooperate and coordinate with the provincial Department for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice and Hearing of Complaints.

They assured the delegation that they would provide the necessary cooperation to better implement Islamic Sharia rulings, the Law on the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, and the issued decrees and directives.
