In Zabul Province, a woman obtained her Shari’ah right to inheritance through the efforts of the Muhtasibs
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in Zabul Province, in line with their commitment to protecting women's rights and pursuant to the six-article decree of His Excellency Amir al/Mu/mi/nin on safeguarding women's rights, secured the Sh/ar/iah right of inheritance for a woman whose inheritance case had remained unresolved with her brothers for a long time.
Officials (Muhtasibs) stated that the woman had been seeking her rightful share of inheritance from her brothers and relatives for many years.
Despite repeated efforts, she had been unable to obtain her legitimate Sh/ar/iah right.
Through the intervention and efforts of the Muhtasibs, she was finally able to receive her lawful inheritance.
The officials (Muhtasibs) further emphasized that they remain fully committed to ensuring that women receive all of their Sh/ar/iah rights and will not allow anyone to engage in acts of violence or mistreatment against women.
It is worth noting that officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, have rescued hundreds of women across the country from domestic violence, unlawful confinement, un-Is/la/mic marriages, and situations that placed them at risk of suicide.
They have also enabled hundreds of women to obtain their legitimate Sharia right to inheritance.
