A murder case and a year-long feud between two families in Al-Fath District of Sar-e-Pul Province have been resolved through the mediation and efforts of the provincial head of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice and Hearing The Complaints of IEA, along with a high-ranking provincial delegation, based on Islamic Sharia and with the consent of both sides.

The feud, which began about a year ago following reciprocal killings between the two sides, was brought to an end through the efforts of the delegation and cooperation from the parties involved.

The dispute was settled through reconciliation and the payment of blood money (Diyah), as determined for the rightful heirs of both sides, thereby putting an end to the hostility between the two families.

During a meeting with the parties involved, the head of the provincial Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice and Hearing of Complaints and the high-ranking provincial delegation emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity, strengthening Islamic brotherhood, peacefully resolving disputes, promoting the religious duty of enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and observing religious and social values.

They also stressed the need for joint efforts by religious scholars, community elders, and local residents to prevent the escalation of disputes and ensure social peace and stability.

The provincial head of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice and Hearing of Complaints also stated that resolving disputes and hostilities through dialogue, reconciliation, and adherence to Islamic rulings can play an effective role in reducing conflicts, preventing the continuation of disputes, and strengthening peace, unity, and solidarity among families and local residents
