Thirteen cases of violence against women were addressed in five provinces

Officials of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in the provinces of Paktika, Ghor, Kabul, Parwan, and Balkh, within the framework of their religious responsibilities, have addressed 13 cases involving women who had been subjected to domestic violence over recent years.
These cases were handled after receiving public reports, conducting comprehensive investigations, and coordinating with religious scholars and community elders.
As a result, all of the women concerned were freed from abusive situations, and their rights under Islamic law were upheld.
Officials of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in the aforementioned provinces emphasized that safeguarding women's rights under Islamic law and preventing all forms of oppression and domestic violence are among their fundamental religious responsibilities.
They stated that no individual or group will be allowed to commit oppression or violence against women in violation of the principles of Islamic law. They further noted that anyone found in violation will be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of Islamic law.
