In six provinces, Muhtasibs held meetings with religious scholars, tribal elders, and youth to prevent harmful traditional practices
Officials (Muhtasibs) held meetings with religious scholars, tribal elders, and youth in Samangan, Balkh, Daikundi, Zabul, Nangarhar, and Takhar provinces to discuss preventing harmful traditional practices, promoting social reform, shaping public awareness, and strengthening cooperation with the muhtasibs in these areas.
During these various reform-oriented meetings, which aimed to prevent harmful practices in society, the muhtasibs called on religious scholars, tribal elders, and youth to cooperate with them in preventing harmful incidents and traditions that lead society in a negative direction.
The participants also discussed ways to eliminate harmful traditional practices in society and improve public awareness. They shared their views and recommendations and presented proposals for greater coordination in this area.
The participants pledged to continue joint efforts to promote the implementation of Islamic Sharia rulings, contribute to social reform, and ensure the effective enforcement of Sharia laws.
