Seventeen disputes and feuds among tribes and families were resolved in eight provinces across the country
As part of efforts to strengthen Is/la/mic unity, promote social peace, and resolve disputes and hostilities among ethnic groups and families, personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in the provinces of Takhar, Baghlan, Maidan Wardak, Balkh, Bamyan, Samangan, and Farah successfully resolved 17 cases of disputes and enmity in a peaceful manner in accordance with Is/la/mic guidelines.
These disputes and hostilities had arisen as a result of family disagreements, ethnic conflicts, inheritance-related issues, and social misunderstandings, which had gradually been expanding over time.
Through the efforts of the ministry’s personnel, and with the cooperation of religious scholars and community elders, the parties involved were encouraged to pursue reconciliation and mutual understanding. As a result, all of these cases were completely resolved.
Furthermore, during the reconciliation discussions, the parties involved expressed remorse and accepted mutual understanding, agreeing to end their hostilities and establish peaceful relations in accordance with the teachings and guidance of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings be upon him).
