Seven women were rescued from domestic abuse and oppression in the provinces of Jawzjan, Badghis, Nangarhar, Parwan, and Nimroz

Personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in the provinces of Jawzjan, Badghis, Nangarhar, Parwan, and Nimroz, following reports received from local residents, identified six women who had been subjected to domestic violence over the past years and provided them with support in accordance with Is/la/mic law.

These women, who had been deprived of their Sh/ar/ia based rights as a result of ongoing domestic abuse, were rescued from violent situations through the efforts of the ministry's personnel (Muhtasibs), and their legitimate rights were restored.

Furthermore, the ministry's personnel (Muhtasibs) in the aforementioned provinces summoned the husbands and relatives of these women to the provincial Departments for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.

After conducting comprehensive investigations and providing religious guidance and recommendations regarding the observance of women's rights under Is/la/mic law, they obtained written commitments from them to refrain in the future from any conduct contrary to divine injunctions and from committing acts of violence against their wives and daughters.
