A seller of alcoholic beverages was arrested in Badghis Province

Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, in Badghis Province, as part of their continued efforts to implement the rulings of Is/la/mic Sh/ar/ia, prevent immoral acts, and reform society, arrested one individual on charges of selling alcohol.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue in Badghis Province stated that the individual was identified and arrested as a result of joint efforts by the Muhtasibs and intelligence Muja/hid/een of the province.  Approximately ten liters of alcohol were also discovered and confiscated from his possession.
Officials of the Ministry in the province emphasized that combating acts contrary to Sh/ar/ia, preventing the spread of corruption, and protecting the younger generation are among their fundamental responsibilities, and that the Muhtasibs are making serious efforts to achieve these goals.
They also called on the residents of Badghis Province to cooperate with the personnel of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints in preserving Is/la/mic values and preventing acts that are forbidden and contrary to Sh/ar/ia.
