Secured the Sh.ar.ia based rights of four women in inheritance and dowry (Mahr) cases in the provinces of Ghor, Samangan, Sar-e-Pul, and Balkh
As a result of the efforts of the personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, four women in the provinces of Ghor, Samangan, Balkh, and Sar-e Pol obtained their Sh/ar/ia-guaranteed rights regarding inheritance and dowry (Mahr).
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry in the aforementioned provinces stated that these cases were addressed after receiving complaints from the affected women and conducting comprehensive investigations.
In accordance with the provisions of Is/la/mic Sh/ar/ia and with full observance of relevant principles and procedures, the complainants' lawful rights concerning dowry and inheritance were secured, and their rights were fully restored.
The Ministry's officials in these provinces emphasized that safeguarding and ensuring the Sh/ar/ia-guaranteed rights of all citizens, especially women, in matters of inheritance, dowry, and other religious rights is among their fundamental responsibilities
