Resolved 17 disputes and enmities in the provinces of Farah, Nangarhar, Maidan Wardak, Badghis, Samangan, Kabul, Takhar, Baghlan, Sar-e-Pul, and Daikundi
Inspectors (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in Farah, Nangarhar, Maidan Wardak, Badghis, Samangan, Kabul, Baghlan, Takhar, Daikundi, and Sar-e Pol provinces resolved 17 family disputes in the provincial centers and a number of districts, and reconciled the parties involved.
This was done with the aim of strengthening social stability, eliminating ethnic and linguistic prejudices, and promoting a spirit of unity.
The inspectors (Muhtasibs) stated that they will spare no effort in fostering unity among different ethnic groups and will not allow anyone to promote ethnic or linguistic hostility.
During community meetings with local residents, the inspectors also called upon religious scholars, tribal elders, and local people to cooperate with them in preventing such problems.
Meanwhile, local residents praised the inspectors’ efforts and urged them to further intensify their activities, not only in preventing immoral acts but also in addressing existing social problems, disputes, and enmities within society.
