Resolution of 20 Cases of Longstanding Disputes and Enmities Among Tribes and Families in Eight Provinces
Officials (Muhtasibs)of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints ofIEA, in efforts to strengthen Islamic unity, ensure social peace, and resolve disputes and enmities among tribes and families, have peacefully settled 20 cases of conflict and hostility in the provinces of Nuristan, Balkh, Jawzjan, Maidan Wardak, Samangan, Bamyan, Takhar, and Daikundi, in cooperation with religious scholars and community elders.These disputes and enmities, which stemmed from family disagreements, tribal conflicts, issues related to inheritance distribution, and social misunderstandings, had been gradually intensifying over time. They were addressed through the efforts of the ministry’s officials.
The officials of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, in the mentioned provinces, facilitated dialogue, provided reform-oriented guidance, and invited both sides toward reconciliation and Islamic brotherhood. As a result, the grounds for peace and reconciliation were established, and all disputes and hostilities were completely resolved.
