Resolution of 18 disputes and enmities in the provinces of Takhar, Balkh, Nimroz, Daikundi, Bamyan, Farah, Parwan, Kunduz, and Maidan Wardak
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in an effort to strengthen Islamic unity, ensure social peace, and resolve conflicts and hostilities among communities and families, have peacefully settled 18 disputes in the provinces of Takhar, Balkh, Nimroz, Daikundi, Bamyan, Farah, Parwan, Kunduz, and Maidan Wardak.
These disputes and hostilities, which stemmed from family disagreements, ethnic conflicts, issues related to inheritance distribution, and social misunderstandings, had been gradually intensifying over time but were addressed through the efforts of the Ministry’s officials (Muhtasibs).
In the mentioned provinces, the Ministry’s representatives facilitated dialogue, provided reform-oriented guidance, and encouraged both parties toward mutual understanding and Islamic brotherhood, thereby creating the conditions for reconciliation. As a result, all disputes and hostilities were completely resolved. It is worth noting that these resolutions come as, during the past month, the Ministry’s officials also succeeded in transforming nearly 300 disputes and hostilities among communities and families into peace and Islamic brotherhood.
