Rescue of 13 women from domestic violence in the provinces of Takhar, Ghazni, Kabul, Zabul, Faryab, and Nimroz

Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in the provinces of Takhar, Ghazni, Kabul, Zabul, Faryab, and Nimroz have comprehensively addressed 13 cases involving women who had been subjected to domestic violence over the past years, with the aim of ensuring Sh/ar/ia-based justice, implementing Is/la/mic rulings, and safeguarding the religious rights of women.
These cases were reviewed following the receipt of public reports, the conduct of thorough investigations, and close coordination with religious scholars and community elders.
As a result of these efforts, the women concerned were freed from abusive situations, and their Sh/ar/ia-prescribed rights were secured.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in the aforementioned provinces emphasized that protecting the Sh/ar/ia rights of women and preventing all forms of abuses and violence within the family, based on the principles of Is/la/mic Sh/ar/ia, remain among their fundamental priorities.
They further stated that no individual or group will be allowed to commit injustice or violence against women in violation of Is/la/mic teachings, and that any violators will be dealt with in accordance with Sh/ar/ia provisions.
