Officials resolved 17 disputes and conflicts in nine provinces across the country, reconciling families
In an effort to strengthen Islamic unity, ensure social peace, and resolve disputes and conflicts among ethnic groups and families, personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing Complaints of IEA, in the provinces of Takhar, Badghis, Laghman, Baghlan, Farah, Kapisa, Faryab, Nangarhar, and Bamiyan successfully resolved 17 cases of disputes and hostilities in a peaceful manner, in accordance with Sh/ar/.ia guidelines.
These disputes, which stemmed from family disagreements, ethnic conflicts, issues related to inheritance distribution, and social misunderstandings, had gradually been expanding over time. Through the efforts and mediation of the Ministry’s personnel (Muhtasibs), the involved parties were encouraged toward peace and mutual understanding, and ultimately all disputes were fully resolved. Local representatives of the Ministry, by holding reconciliation meetings, providing Sh/ar./ia guidance, and emphasizing the principles of Isl.a.mic brotherhood, succeeded in gaining the satisfaction of both sides and prevented the further escalation and intensification of these disputes and conflicts.
