Nearly twenty long-standing disputes and family or tribal feuds were resolved in the six provinces across the country

In light of Islamic values, the culture of forgiveness, and the spirit of brotherhood, the peacebuilding efforts of the personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, have successfully resolved long-standing disputes and hostilities among families and tribes in the provinces of Jawzjan, Takhar, Nuristan, Parwan, Daikundi, and Kapisa.
Through these efforts, nearly twenty disputes and feuds that had kept families and tribal communities divided for many years were peacefully settled through dialogue and mutual understanding, thanks to the mediation of the ministry's officials, in cooperation with tribalelders and religious scholars.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints in these provinces stated that the objective of implementing these peacebuilding initiatives is to promote a culture of peace, strengthen Islamic brotherhood, and prevent the continuation of disputes that could negatively affect social unity and cohesion.
Religious scholars and tribal elders also emphasized that, according to Islamic teachings, reconciliation and reform among people are among the most important values of the faith.
They noted that forgiveness, tolerance, and resolving conflicts through dialogue are essential steps toward building a peaceful and united society.
Meanwhile, a number of the families involved in these disputes expressed their appreciation for the ministry's efforts in facilitating the reconciliation process.
They pledged to uphold Islamic principles and religious values in all aspects of their lives and to continue living in a spirit of brotherhood, forgiveness, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence, free from conflict and hostility.
