Muhtasibs resolved six disputes in four provinces
Officials (Muhtasibs) in Baghlan, Nuristan, Farah, and Zabul provinces, with the mediation of religious scholars and tribal elders, resolved six disputes between families over various issues that had led to significant social problems. Reconciliation was reached between the parties involved.
These long-standing disputes, which had arisen because of social problems and harmful traditional practices, were settled through the efforts of the Muhtasibs and the mediation of local religious scholars and tribal elders.
The Muhtasibs added that, in addition to preventing other acts they consider immoral, they have, over the past month, prevented dozens of major feuds and smaller disputes across the country. They said their efforts in this regard are continuing.
