Inheritance rights of six women were secured through the efforts of ministry officials in Balkh, Faryab, Baghlan, and Takhar provinces
In accordance with the principles of Islamic Sh.ar.ia and with the aim of safeguarding Islamic justice, six cases related to women’s inheritance rights in the provinces of Balkh, Baghlan, and Takhar have been resolved through the efforts of the personnel of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints.
officials (Muhtasibs) of the ministry in the aforementioned provinces stated that these cases were thoroughly investigated and resolved in accordance with Islamic Sh.ar.ia and in light of the commandments of Allah.
As a result, the Sh.ar.ia-based rights of the women were fully restored to them.
Furthermore, ministry officials emphasized that securing women’s rights—especially in inheritance matters, which are among the fundamental principles of Islam, is one of their key responsibilities, and efforts in this regard are ongoing.
