In Ghazni, a girl was reunited with her family after being missing for seven years
Inspectors (Muhtasibs) of the Directorate of Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in Ghazni Province while carrying out their duties in the area of the Third District under the provincial center, found a young woman who had been facing severe difficulties due to domestic violence and unfair treatment by her in-laws and had been expelled from her home. After seven years, she was located and reunited with her family.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Directorate of Promotion of Virtue in the province stated that the young woman had been married off by her father at an early age.
Following numerous disputes and incidents of violence in her in-laws’ home, she was driven out of the house.
Through the efforts of the inspectors in the province, she was eventually found and returned to her family.
Officials (Muhtsaibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints further stated that they are fully committed to ensuring and safeguarding all rights of women as recognized under Is/la/mic law, and that they will not allow anyone to engage in violent behavior against women.
