Five Sh.ar.ia-related cases concerning women’s inheritance rights were addressed in Ghazni Province
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in line with ensuring the Sh/ar/ia rights of women and addressing public complaints, have handled five legal cases related to women’s inheritance rights in Gilan district of Ghazni province.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry in this province stated that these cases were thoroughly investigated after receiving complaints from the affected women, in accordance with the rulings of Is/la/mic Sh/ar/ia and with full observance of the principles, procedures, and laws related to hearing complaints.
As a result, the Sh/ar/ia rights of the female complainants regarding inheritance were secured, and their rights were fully restored. It is worth mentioning that the process of addressing these cases comes at a time when, during the past month alone, another one hundred women, through the efforts of the Ministry’s personnel, have been able to obtain their Sh/ar/ia rights in matters of inheritance and dowry.
