Arrest of three professional sorcerers by personnel of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtu, in Kabul and Logar provinces

Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing Complaints of IEA, through its inspectors in Kabul and Logar provinces, has arrested three sorcerers who, under the names of spiritual healing and amulets, were creating discord and problems among families and carrying out harmful acts of witchcraft and magic in exchange for money. 
They were detained along with numerous magic-related books and non-Is/la/mic amulets. Officials (Muhtasibs) stated that the three dangerous sorcerers were arrested together with their tools of witchcraft. 
They had been taking money from people under the pretext of solving family problems and engaging in unlawful practices. 
The suspects will be referred to judicial and legal authorities for further investigation.

The inspectors also assured that no one will be allowed to carry out superstitious or non-Is/la/mic activities in societ.
They called on the public to cooperate with the inspectors in eliminating such harmful phenomena.
