Personnel (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in line with ensuring women's Sh/ar/ia rights and realizing Is/la/mic justice, have addressed six legal cases related to women's inheritance and dowry (Mahr) rights in Balkh Province in accordance with the rulings of Is/la/mic Sh/ar/ia.

Officials of the Ministry in Balkh Province stated that these cases were thoroughly examined by the Ministry's Muhtasibs with full diligence and integrity after receiving complaints from the affected women.

As a result, the Sh/ar/ia rights of the female complainants regarding inheritance and dowry were secured, and their legitimate entitlements were fully delivered to them. It is worth noting that this process is taking place while, during the past month alone, nearly one hundred women have succeeded in obtaining their Sh/ar/ia and legal rights concerning inheritance and dowry.
