Five women in Takhar, Parwan, and Ghor provinces were granted their legal rights to inheritance, divorce, and dowry (Mahr)
Inspectors (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, in line with the Ministry's commitment to safeguarding women's rights and pursuant to the six-article decree issued by His Excellency the Amir al/Mu/mi/nin, facilitated the provision of Is/la/mic legal rights related to inheritance, divorce, and dowry (Mahr) to five women in Takhar, Parwan, and Ghor provinces.
These cases had remained unresolved for an extended period despite the women's efforts to obtain their lawful rights from their brothers and other family members.
Officials (Muhtasibs) stated that the women had sought their inheritance, divorce, and dowry rights from their brothers and relatives for many years but had been unable to secure their legitimate entitlements despite repeated attempts.
Through the efforts of the Ministry's (Muhtasibs) inspectors, they were ultimately able to receive there is/la/mic legal rights.
Officials (Muhtasibs) further emphasized that the Ministry remains fully committed to ensuring that women receive all of their legitimate Is/la/mic rights and will not allow anyone to engage in violent or abusive behavior against women or deprive them of their lawful entitlements.
