Muhtasibs resolved 7 cases of enmity and disputes across 4 provinces
The Muhtasibs (inspectors) of the Ministry for the promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints of IEA, resolved seven cases of longstanding enmities and disputes among families in the center and several districts of Sar-e-Pul, Farah, Maidan Wardak, Takhar, and Nangarhar provinces.
These efforts were carried out to promote social stability, eliminate ethnic and linguistic prejudice, and strengthen the spirit of national unity. Reconciliation was successfully achieved between the parties involved.
The Muhtasibs stated that they will spare no effort in strengthening unity among different ethnic groups and will not allow anyone to promote ethnic or linguistic hostility.
During community meetings with local residents, the Muhtasibs also called upon religious scholars, tribal elders, and members of the public to cooperate with them in preventing such disputes and conflicts.
Meanwhile, local residents appreciated the Muhtasibs' efforts and urged them to further intensify their activities, not only in preventing vice but also in addressing social problems, disputes, and longstanding enmities within society.
