Prevention of the sale of nearly 300 kilograms of unhealty meat in the markets of Ghor Province
Inspectors (Muhtasibs) from the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing Complaints of IEA, in Ghor Province, in line with promoting good and preventing wrongdoing, and with the aim of safeguarding public health and ensuring fairness in trade, identified and confiscated a significant quantity of spoiled meat in the provincial center.
This action was carried out in the presence of a committee composed of representatives from relevant institutions.
After necessary inspections, approximately 291 kilograms of unusable chicken meat, which had been stored in substandard conditions, was completely destroyed. Officials (Muhtasibs) from the ministry in Ghor emphasized that the consumption of such food could lead to severe poisoning, various illnesses, and pose a serious threat to public health. Therefore, preventing hoarding, fraud in weighing, and the sale of low-quality and expired goods is considered one of their key priorities.
These efforts will continue across the country in light of Islamic Sh/ar/.ia principles, with the aim of upholding religious values, ensuring social justice, and protecting public health.
