Morality Officers Arrest a Dangerous Sorcerer in Baghlan Province
Inspectors (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints in Baghlan Province have arrested a dangerous sorcerer in Dand Ghori district. The arrest was made as part of efforts to correct public perception, prevent un-Islamic practices, and establish an Islamic environment. The individual was detained along with sorcery books and related tools, and will be referred to judicial authorities for further investigation and a Sharia-based decision.
According to the inspectors, the arrested individual had, through un-Islamic practices, caused division and domestic conflicts among many families and had taken large sums of money from local people. He was apprehended by the inspectors and will be handed over to judicial and legal institutions for further proceedings. The inspectors emphasized that they will not allow anyone to engage in unlawful or non-Sharia-compliant activities in society. They stated that they will use all their capacity to prevent any wrongdoing that harms public perception or promotes immoral practices.
It is worth mentioning that the inspectors of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints have arrested a total of 58 individuals accused of sorcery across the country during the month of Hamal in the year 1405, and their efforts in this regard will continue.
