Emphasis on adherence to Sharia rulings during the Muhtasibs' inspections of healthcare centers and pharmacies across the country

Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, as part of their ongoing programs of inspection, reform, and public awareness, visited public and private hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies in various provinces across the country to assess the delivery of healthcare services from multiple perspectives.

During these visits, the Muhtasibs met with administrators, doctors, and healthcare staff, emphasizing adherence to Islamic values, the observance of congregational prayers at the prescribed times, compliance with the Islamic dress code (hijab), respectful and responsible treatment of patients, fairness in the provision of healthcare services, and the maintenance of administrative discipline.

The Muhtasibs also evaluated the conduct and appearance of healthcare personnel (Muhtasibs) and provided guidance to administrators and staff on strengthening the spirit of public service, observing Islamic ethics, safeguarding the rights of patients and visitors, and ensuring the proper implementation of the Law on the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.
