Muhtasibs rescued three women from domestic violence in the provinces of Farah, Nangarhar, and Baghlan
Inspectors (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing the Complaints of IEA, in Nangarhar, Farah, and Baghlan provinces rescued three women who had been subjected to mistreatment by their husbands and other family members and were facing severe domestic violence.
The women were assisted in obtaining their rights under Islamic law.
Officials (Muhtasibs) stated that some of these women had been living in their parental homes for a long period due to the abusive behavior of their husbands and had been left in an uncertain situation.
Through the efforts of the inspectors (Muhtasibs), they were reunited with their husbands and enabled to receive their rights as prescribed under Is/la/mic law.
Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints further emphasized that they are fully committed to ensuring and protecting all rights of women under Is/la/mic law and will not permit anyone to engage in violent behavior against women.
