Efforts by the personnel of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice led to the resolution of a dispute and the reopening of a mosque in Nangarhar province

Officials (Muhtasibs) of the Department for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Hearing of Complaints in Nangarhar province have successfully resolved a long-standing dispute between two tribes over a mosque in Dara-e-Noor district.

According to local authorities, the dispute had persisted for several years, resulting in the closure of the mosque for the past five years.

The mosque, regarded as an important center for worship and unity among Muslims, had remained inaccessible for prayers and other religious activities due to the ongoing conflict.

Through the efforts of the department’s inspectors, the dispute between two communities was resolved, leading to the reopening of the mosque for the worshippers.

It is worth noting that officials in the province have previously resolved a number of disputes and conflicts among tribes and families, and their efforts in this regard are ongoing.
