In Ghazni, three women received their rightful inheritance under Islamic law through the efforts of the ministry officers

Officials(Muhtasibs) from the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Ghazni Province, reaffirming their commitment to women’s rights and in accordance with a six-article decree issued by the Amir al-Mu’mi.nin, have facilitated the distribution of Sh.ar.ia-based inheritance rights to women whose cases had remained unresolved for a long time.                                                                             According to the officials, these women had been seeking their inheritance from their brothers for years but were unable to obtain their rightful shares despite repeated efforts. 
Through the intervention of morality officers (Muhtasibs), they were finally able to receive their legal entitlements.
The officials further stated that they remain fully committed to ensuring the protection of all women’s Sh.ar.ia-based rights and will not allow anyone to engage in violent or abusive behavior against women.
It is also noted that officials from the ministry have, across the country, assisted hundreds of women by rescuing them from domestic violence, forced confinement, non-Sh.ar.ia marriages, and suicide, while also helping many others secure their rightful inheritance.
